Common Questions
Yes. Poses such as Naukasana and Chaturanga Dandasana work the deep core. Results vary, so build up slowly and keep the practice regular.
Tadasana, Balasana, Marjariasana and Bhujangasana are gentle starting points. Go slowly, breathe easily and stop if anything hurts.
Yoga cannot target fat in one area. It builds core tone and supports healthy habits. Pair it with balanced eating and regular activity.
Gentle folds and twists may ease mild bloating for some people. They do not treat its cause. See a doctor if bloating is frequent or painful.
Forceful breathing puts strong pressure on the belly. It is not suitable for everyone and is left out here. Slow, easy breathing is safer. Ask a qualified teacher first.
See a doctor for severe or sudden pain, vomiting, fever or blood in stool. Also go if pain lasts more than a few days. A doctor can find the cause and guide safe practice.
